Who doesn’t love a street festival? City Walk certainly does – so don’t miss the second week of spectacular performers, masked entertainers and even stilt walkers parading through the stylish design-led neighbourhood.

Italy arrives in Dubai thanks to the City Walk Street Fest, in collaboration with Time Out Dubai, which is channelling the ancient traditions of Venice throughout. Up to 20 performers join the Venetian grand parade at Masar Al Ibtikar before finishing at Al Mustaqbal Street.

Every weekend there’ll be entertainers roaming the streets from 5pm until late, including dancers, musicians and unicyclists. You can join the fun by designing your own mask, dressing up in costumes or taking pictures inside a gondola. There’s even a kids workshop, which is free of charge for little ones aged four to 12, held in front of Godiva and Lush. And the best news is the latter will be giving free facials for mums while their kids enjoy the workshop. Godiva will be handing out free ice creams, too.

However, if you prefer to hit Al Mustaqbal Street, you’ll fashion find brands synonymous with Italy, befitting for the occasion, including Human & Beings, Carducci, Atos Lombardini and GianFranco Lotti – some of which will be offering up special deals for the occasion.

If you’re looking to pick up elegant pieces for home than look no further than Royal Owl Furniture and Bea e Martina.

For those that fancy themselves as a bit of a Gino D’Acampo, the freshest Italian ingredients are stocked at Olivier’s & Co, such as olive oil, balsamic vinegar and truffle oil that you can take home and whip up a bowl of pasta that mamma would be proud of.
