Dubai’s only fitness party is making a big return

Forget about getting fit for a beach party, Dubai Muscle Beach is making its grand return so you can get fit at the party.

Taking place at the Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort from Friday November 9 until Saturday November 11, the two-day fitness extravaganza has a host of competitions and activities to take part in or cheer on while you lounge at the beach and pool.

Run by Universal Muscle Fitness Fashion, the highlight of the event will be the IFBB bodybuilding amateur championship, along with the fitness and fashion competitions.

Split into different categories, including men’s physique and muscular physique, participants will up for the chance to win Dhs5,000 for first place.

Think you have the right stuff to win it? You sign yourself up to both the competitions right here, but be fast, as the last day of registration is on Friday (November 2).

There are various other adrenaline pumping events to get involved with, including a Beach Volleyball Regional Championship, a military core training bootcamp, the IronStar Swimrun Dubai which mixes swimming with crossfit, MMA fights to cheer on along with morning beach yoga to get you limbered up for the day.

With all that fitness going on, you have to keep yourself fed, so it’s a good thing The Palm Garden Restaurant and Terrace will be setting up its beach party brunch over the two days.

Last year’s event saw 400 competitors take part in the events, along with 2,500 attendees partying it up the fittest way possible.

Tickets are going from Dhs100 so be sure to book your spot.

It couldn’t have come at a better time, as the Dubai Fitness Challenge is well under way, too, and there are plenty of activities to get involved in.
