Basement Jaxx are coming to Dubai

Red Alert, Red Alert! Basement Jaxx are coming to Dubai.

The legendary EDM duo rang in the New Year by headlining a show-stopping set at Inner City Zoo, JBR, and now they’re coming back.

Zero Gravity, Time Out Dubai’s current Beach Club of the Year has signed the British act to play post-brunch on Friday, October 19.

Expect a sell-out crowd, as Jaxx – famed for hits including Red Alert, Where’s Your Head At, Romeo and Good luck – attract a huge following everywhere they play.

Their arrival at the famous Dubai Marina club comes after the news chart-topping '90s group Vengaboys will also play.|

The Eurodance band, who have sold an estimated 25 million record worldwide, and are best known for hits including Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom and We Like To Party, will take the Zero Gravity stage the night before on Thursday, October 18 for an epic night of bubblegum pop.

They’ll play as part of a stellar season of music at the top outdoor venue, with funk DJ Purple Disco Machine performing on Thursday, October 4 followed by Nobody To Love drum 'n' bass duo Sigma on Friday, October 5.

At the end of next month, there'll also be a 12-hour throwback house music event called The Classics Festival featuring favourites including Alex P, Brandon Block and Judge Jules.

But it doesn't end there, with an all-star line up in the works for Zero Gravity's fifth birthday on Friday, November 16.

It includes DJ EZ and saxophone player Lovely Laura who is coming all the way from Ibiza.
