Asia Asia
Asia Asia is Time Out Dubai’s Best Lounge Bar, so expect a refined, yet laid-back, party vibe at this Friday brunch. Don’t dismiss the food – it also picked up a Highly Commended gong in our Best Asian category at the 2018 Restaurant Awards. Granted, it’s a truly excellent spot in winter, thanks to the terrace overlooking the Marina, but during summer you’ll still be wowed by the super-cool interiors and stunning sushi.

Axe House
A relative newcomer to the brunch scene, this trendy indoor spot lends itself perfectly to weekends inside. The cool East London-style bar offers a Friday brunch with sharing dishes from a menu that changes monthly. There’s a live DJ spinning the tunes, too, and an area with air hockey, should you fancy battling it out with your mates.

Babiole
Babiole is another restaurant that is equally splendid in both summer and winter. A light, bright interior means you won’t feel claustrophobic, while a wander outside (brave it for a minute or two) will enable you to admire the stunning views from the 44th floor of the Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor City. The party kicks off inside with upbeat music, a fun vibe and a variety of Mediterranean dishes.

Bleu Blanc
After something fancy? US Michelin-starred chef David Myers’ Comme ça Friday brunch boasts a range of signature dishes brought to your table. Highlights include oxtail tartine, polenta croquettes, grilled king prawns, skirt steak and mac and cheese. Ooh la la.

COYA DUBAI
An all-time favourite at Time Out Dubai, this is one of the ultimate indoor brunches. Highly Commended in this year’s Best Brunch category, COYA pulls out all the stops when it comes to an upmarket indoor party. It’s on the pricey side, but the atmosphere is buzzing and there’s a decent selection of drinks. The Peruvian cuisine is excellent, too.

Hotel Cartagena
This new Latin American spot in Business Bay has a upbeat Friday brunch with some of the best views you’ll find in the city. Set on the 72nd floor of the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, you’ll get sweeping vistas out across Dubai to accompany the pumping Latino beats, vibrant jungle décor and signature South American dishes to dig into.

Loca
This is a Mexican fiesta you won’t want to miss. The longstanding Jumeirah bar puts on a splendid – and excellent value – Friday brunch, highlights of which include a “taco takeover” and upbeat music.

Lima Dubai
If you’re after some top-notch Peruvian food on a Friday – stick this one on your list. Winner of our Best Latin American Restaurant 2018, this cool spot in City Walk offers up a stirling range of dishes at its brunch. There’s a terrace for winter, but the cool interiors and fun vibe make this one that’s fab all year round. The bar upstairs is particulary cool for post-brunch drinks.

Marina Social
This Marina brunch picked up a Highly Commended award in our Best Brunch category this year. The classy restaurant from British Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton boasts grown-up interiors and an excellent sharing menu of signature dishes including beef tartare, sourdough pizzas and short rib.

Nobu
A brunch from the highly acclaimed global chain is ideal for this list as it’s mostly indoors anyway. With a cool, upmarket vibe, you’ll get plenty of super-fresh sushi, inventive signature drinks and, of course, that famous black cod.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House
A popular Friday brunch at the Marina, this US steakhouse has a great deal for Friday brunchers (if you’re a carnivore, that is). Dig into the restaurant’s signature dishes, such as filet Oscar-style and New York strip, washed down with house beverages – for less than you’d normally pay for a steak at many places across the city. The restaurant itself is chic and its an ideal summer brunch.

Waka sits perfectly on this list – given it’s indoors only. An lively vibe accompanies endless ceviche, that famous Wakamole, as well as sushi and Peruvian desserts.

Al Dawaar
This brunch has such great views that you won’t even miss being outside. Dubai’s only revolving restaurant boasts panoramic vistas out across Old Dubai from the perfectly cool air-conditioned dining space. The restaurant was recently revamped so is bright, airy and modern. Don’t worry, it moves at a sedate pace so you won’t be put off your bubbly, and there’s a huge selection of international dishes from mezze to roast dinners, cheese plates and live curry stations. Sign us up.

Brasserie 2.0
This is big, without being overwhelming, and although the terrace is great in winter, inside is large, bright and airy enough not to feel hemmed in (or that you’re sitting in the buffet). Whatever you’re after you’ll find it here – from the huge seafood counter to the live curry station. Another plus point? Being inside means you’re closer to the food.

McGettigan’s JLT
This cosy pub is a great spot to retreat from the hot weather. If you’re after a lot of natural light, it’s possibly not for you, but if you’re looking for a proper pub feel with some decent dishes (including a live carving station), you’ll find it here. You might even forget the blazing sun and feel like you’re escaping the rain back home sheltering in this one (maybe).

Nezesaussi Grill
This is another one that’s entirely indoors, so you won’t feel like you’re missing out on al fresco dining. Dig into pub grub and play some bar sports and arcade games at this Marina brunch and you’ll have a cracking time. Did we mention it was under Dhs200, too?

This longstanding party brunch is as good as ever. With a great selection of drinks, fun and lively vibe, cracking live music and food that’s way better than you’d expect from a shindig of this ilk, you’ll want to book into this DIFC joint for your next birthday.

This Friday fiesta at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai picked up the title of Highly Commended Party Brunch at our 2018 Music & Nightlife Awards, which says a lot. Another great one for the summer months as all the action is indoors. Expect themed stations from Peruvian, Thai and Mediterranean cuisine as well as brunchgoers getting their groove on.

This classic brunch is an all-time fave, and indoors is where it’s at, as that’s where the music is. The brunch offers an unlimited selection of signature pizzas and pastas, à la carte. There’s also live jazz music, dancing and it’ll only set you back Dhs210. Bonus.

Meat lovers will want to head to this Friday brunch at trendy JBR steakhouse STK over the summer as the party kicks off inside. Think dancers, sparklers, moody-lit nightclubby vibes and more. The steaks are better outside of brunch hours, but the party is worth a visit for alone. Make an effort, it’s fancy.

Yalumba
One of the city’s original party brunches, and still going strong, this buffet is big enough to offer loads of choice without leaving you ambling around aimlessly for hours. It’s fun, the food is decent and it’s worth trying if you’re in that end of town.
