Visit Kuwait For These 6 Major Attractions

Middle East region is rich in cultural & ecological diversity and Kuwait has both of it in abundance. According to a survey done for private jets regarding what people like to visit in Kuwait, they told that following are the top places customers love to travel to:-

1. Wafra

Wafra is abundant in greenery within a desert terrain located at 113 km away from the city & has around a hundred private farms. There is a street of the farmers market of cobblestone where one can get fresh harvested vegetables & herbs. It is a preferred place for picnic, far from the hustle bustle life of the city.

2. Kuwait Towers

Whole Kuwait can be seen for Kuwait towers. One out of the three towers i.e the main one is 614 ft. in height and is home for a viewing sphere, restaurants, signatures, reception halls & cafes. The visitors can have the panoramic view of the city through revolving viewing sphere. These are the iconic towers for the nation.

3. Kubbar Island

This low coast and sandy island is covered by coral reefs and is best place for scuba divers. This beach offers breathtaking views of marine life and snorkeling in these waters surround this island. Those who stroll on the soft – silky island, they befriend turtles, seagulls, flamingos and other migrating birds which makes the regular appearances.

4. Souq Al Mubarakeya

This souq is around 200 years old and was once the centre for trade before the oil discovery and foreign invasion back in 1990. For the culture of Middle East, it is like a treasure- here one can find Persian silk carpets, authentic antiques of Arab, perfumes & dates and ethnic wears. Within this market, there is a smaller Souq Al Hareem where Bedouin women sell textiles, kohl and accessories.

5. Al Kout Beach

This beach is stretched on Arabian Gulf for 499 kms giving visitors enough space to relax by the sea. There are various beach clubs on the shore along with public beach spaces & parks in this area. Basking under the sun, this destination is perfect for families and friends to enjoy water sports and also barbeque on the beach.

6. Tareq Rajab Museum

This museum is a must visit in Kuwait. The items there are collected from across the region and world over more than 50 years of time. Some pieces include Saudi & Omani jewellery, Bahrain Pearls, necklaces from Nepal, and Far East costumes.  Tareq Sayed Rajab and his wife Jehan started their travel & research for this museum which is popularly known for Islamic art & calligraphy.
